About the role#
This internship is a key position within the Performance Measurement and Analytics team. You will support the production of investment performance and analytical reporting for asset owner clients. The role involves executing quality control checks, investigating data anomalies, and addressing stakeholder inquiries. You will report to the Manager of Performance Measurement and Analytics.
What you'll do#
- Learn the performance measurement and analytics workflow to ensure accurate, timely reporting.
- Gain a fundamental understanding of calculation methodologies to explain results to stakeholders.
- Work with upstream teams to investigate and resolve data anomalies.
- Build automated business process solutions based on team requirements.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least the 3rd year of post-secondary education.
- A functional understanding of investments and accounting.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and VBA.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- A detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy.
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn new things.
