About the role#
This is a 13-month internship opportunity for the Winter 2027 term, running from December 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027. You will join the Investment Finance team to support investment administration and daily operations. The role reports to the Manager of Investment Operations and involves regular communication with internal teams and external partners.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and support the full life cycle of daily trading activities within the public market environment.
- Assist with daily and monthly reconciliations and NAV validations.
- Oversee and monitor custodian and administrator service levels.
- Help document and maintain operational procedures and trade support processes.
- Work with the Data Team to provide specifications for new accounting and custody reports.
- Identify opportunities for innovation through technology and automation.
- Assist with project planning, scoping, testing, and implementation for new internal systems.
- Liaise with internal and external parties including clients, auditors, and the investment front office.
What you'll need#
- Currently working towards an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or Computer Science.
- Completion of at least two prior co-op work terms.
- Proficiency with the MS Suite, specifically Excel, Word, Power Automate, Power BI, Planner, SharePoint, and Visio.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- A working knowledge of SQL, VBA, or other programming languages is preferred.

- Work Modality: Hybrid, with an office-first approach at 16 York Street.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: The base salary range is CAD $45,000 to $65,000, depending on year of study and relevant experience.
