About the role#
This is a hands-on product internship focused on research, data analysis, and rapid prototyping. You will work closely with the product team to move quickly, bringing ideas to life rather than waiting for fully scoped briefs. You will spend your time talking to customers, analyzing usage data, and building clickable prototypes to test with real users. This role is designed for those who prefer building over spec-writing.
What you'll do#
- Conduct customer interviews and synthesize findings into clear patterns.
- Identify and frame problems before developing solutions.
- Pull and interpret product usage data, including funnels, cohorts, and retention metrics.
- Use data to validate customer feedback and inform product decisions.
- Wireframe ideas quickly and roughly using tools like Figma or Excalidraw.
- Vibe code working prototypes with enough fidelity to conduct usability tests.
- Run usability tests, synthesize results, and feed findings back into the development loop.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design to refine requirements.
What you'll need#
- Experience building something independently, such as a side project or a tool for a club or friend group.
- Comfort talking to strangers and conducting real conversations without relying on a script.
- Curiosity with data and an interest in digging into reports to find insights.
- Ability to wireframe quickly and prioritize flows over polish.
- A strong bias to action and a default approach of trying things yourself.
- Academic background in Computer Science, Data Science, Marketing, or Business Administration.
