About the role#

What you'll do#
- Conduct research and writing for artists and objects in the permanent collection.
- Perform administrative tasks to support the curatorial library.
- Research mission-specific exhibitions happening globally.
- Complete administrative tasks for exhibition-related projects.
- Collaborate on projects with museum staff.
- Participate in meetings and workshops focused on contemporary museology.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or graduate student status.
- Major or minor in art history, visual culture, or a related field.
- Interest in curatorial work.
- Excellent writing and research skills.
- Knowledge of the contemporary art world.
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once and work independently.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: January 11, 2027 to April 16, 2027.
- Commitment: 20 hours per week during the workweek.
- Modality: Hybrid, with three days per week on-site. Tuesdays are mandatory for all interns.
- Compensation: Stipend of $5,040.
- Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
