About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain experience within the medical equipment manufacturing industry. You will join one of our teams in Research and Development, Product Engineering, or the Test Lab. You will apply your classroom knowledge to real projects, work with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of life-changing medical technologies.
What you'll do#
- Design new products and drive them from concept to production.
- Research new technologies, customer feedback, and product performance data.
- Perform quantitative testing of technical specifications for design verification.
- Design and build fixtures to simulate real life situations.
- Document complex processes and present your findings in a clear format.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated skills in leadership, problem-solving, and organization.
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships across teams.
