About the role#
As a Quality Engineering Intern at Stryker, you will contribute to projects within one of our specialized teams, including Advanced Quality, Process Quality, Supplier Quality, or general Quality. You will apply your academic background to real-world engineering challenges while gaining exposure to business leaders and cross-functional teams. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
What you'll do#
- Implement new ideas and develop your technical and professional skills.
- Document complex processes and present them in a clear, understandable format.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions when production issues arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external sales teams to ensure product quality.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure components and manufacturing processes meet our standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- You must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program following the internship.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employment-based sponsorship.
