About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. You will work on-site to gain hands-on experience in the medical equipment manufacturing industry, specifically within our Joint Replacement Sales division. This role requires travel and involves direct interaction with sales, operations, and warehouse teams to understand the full scope of our branch activities.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to learn about branch operations.
- Develop a project segment focused on creating a target account list or a marketing strategy.
- Build your selling skills and learn instrument use techniques through coaching from sales leadership and team members.
- Assist Team Member Drivers with the delivery of medical kits to and from customer accounts.
- Work in the warehouse to assemble and break down instrument kits, ensuring products are ready for surgical use.
- Support sales and field operations teams with special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Intent to remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer internship concludes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident of the United States.
