About the role#
As a Data Science Intern at Stryker, you will support the Commercial Excellence organization within the Trauma and Extremities division. You will work on proactive and predictive insights to inform strategic decisions. This role focuses on hands-on data exploration and analytics to help the business improve its operations.
What you'll do#
- Develop, analyze, and model operational, economic, management, and accounting data.
- Identify trends and forecast business outcomes to support initiatives in Inventory, PLCM, and Customer Service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build data-driven strategies.
- Contribute to the development of scalable solutions that improve business impact.
- Use tools such as Python, SQL, and data visualization platforms to complete projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship ends.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, full-time, paid internship.
- The role follows a rolling schedule.
- Compensation ranges from $20 to $35 per hour, plus a sign-on bonus.
- Interns receive 11 paid holidays annually and either paid corporate housing or a living stipend, depending on the hiring location.
