About the role#
As a Project Controls Intern at the American Centrifuge Plant in Piketon, you will gain hands-on experience supporting large-scale projects. You will work alongside project controls and management professionals to learn how teams use schedules, budgets, and performance data to monitor progress and ensure successful project delivery. This role provides practical experience for a future career in engineering, project management, or business operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with maintaining project schedules and tracking costs or commitments.
- Monitor project milestones and deliverables.
- Organize project data and reports.
- Identify variances and maintain action or issue logs.
- Help prepare project updates and presentations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering, finance, and other internal teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a bachelor’s or graduate program in engineering, business, project management, construction management, finance, or operations management.
- Completion of at least two years of college-level coursework in a technical field.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with an interest in data.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for analysis and reporting.
- U.S. citizenship.

- Compensation: $23-$25 per hour.
- Requirements: This position requires a pre-employment background check, a drug test, and vetting to meet federal requirements for access to export-controlled and nuclear information.
