About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Mechanical Engineering internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in either San Jose or Fremont, California. You will join one of our teams focused on Research and Development, New Product Development, Product Engineering, or Test Lab operations. We are looking for students who want to apply their academic background to real-world projects in medical equipment manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Apply classroom knowledge to industry projects.
- Research new technologies, business requirements, and relevant regulations.
- Design new products and guide them from initial concept through to production.
- Partner with Test Engineers to build prototypes and evaluate product designs.
- Document complex technical processes and present your findings in a clear format.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
