About the role#
As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will support engineers and designers on site development, transportation, utility, grading, and drainage projects. You will gain hands-on exposure to civil design tools, technical documentation, field conditions, and project delivery while working on active assignments under the guidance of experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Assist with civil drawings, calculations, reports, data collection, and other project documentation.
- Support grading, drainage, utility, roadway, and site layout design and coordination.
- Participate in project meetings, site visits, field observations, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Completion of relevant engineering, design, or technical coursework.
- Basic understanding of civil engineering principles.
- Basic proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Internship, co-op, or project experience related to civil engineering is preferred.
- Familiarity with grading, drainage, utilities, transportation, or site development concepts.
- Involvement in ASCE or related engineering organizations.

- Locations: Coraopolis, PA and Sewickley, PA.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time intern.
- Compensation: 20 - 25 USD per hour.
- Term: Rolling.
