About the role#
We are hiring engineering students for a Summer 2027 internship in our Escondido, California office. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will work on pre-construction design, planning, and analysis. Interns gain hands-on experience with technical software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, GIS, and Excel.
What you'll do#
- Use technical software to analyze, produce, and quality-check project deliverables.
- Contribute to civil engineering design, permitting, and planning for various projects.
- Solve technical problems and support project managers.
- Work with different teams to complete built environment projects.
- Learn federal, state, and local regulations along with company design standards.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree from an ABET-accredited program.
- Eligible majors include Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, as well as Engineering Technology.

- Pay: $31 to $32 per hour.
