About the role#
Holmes US is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site, paid position based in San Francisco. You will work on actual design projects and gain exposure to various project types rather than being siloed into a single task. We aim to provide a practical look at the daily work of a structural engineer.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to team discussions and collaborate with experienced engineers.
- Participate in weekly development workshops.
- Engage in hands-on technical training.
- Go on local site visits to see engineering in action.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a B.S. or M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Previous internship experience.
- Curiosity and a team-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills.
- Readiness to contribute ideas and take on challenges.
- A genuine interest in structural design.
