About the role#
Holmes US is seeking a Fire Protection Engineering Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco. You will work on fire protection solutions and gain experience with industry-standard engineering practices.
What you'll do#
- Support fire protection solutions for various projects.
- Operate fire modeling tools.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the United States.
- Participate in weekly development workshops.
- Learn from experienced fire safety engineers.
- Attend team social events and activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Fire Protection Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Previous internship experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Experience with fire modeling software.
- A team-oriented mindset and a commitment to learning.
Location & details#
- Location: San Francisco, California.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $30 to $35 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
- Employment type: Full-time internship.
