About the role#
Holmes US is seeking a Fire Protection Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Portland, Oregon. You will work on fire protection solutions and gain technical experience within our engineering team.
What you'll do#
- Support fire protection solutions for various projects.
- Use fire modeling tools and related technology.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Attend weekly development workshops.
- Learn from engineers in fire safety.
- Participate in team activities and social events.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a B.S. or M.S. in Fire Protection Engineering or another engineering discipline.
- Prior internship experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Experience with fire modeling tools.
- A team-oriented mindset and a commitment to learning.
