About the role#
Holmes US is hiring a Structural Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Portland, Oregon. You will work on real design projects and gain technical experience across a variety of assignments.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to actual design projects and team discussions.
- Learn from experienced engineers and receive hands-on technical training.
- Participate in weekly development workshops.
- Visit local job sites to see engineering work in action.

What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a B.S. or M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Previous internship experience.
- Curiosity and a desire to take on new challenges.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members.
- Interest in structural design and a willingness to share ideas.
