About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Towson, Maryland, for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site, gaining exposure to the design and development processes behind our hand and power tools. Throughout the program, you will participate in lunch and learn sessions and receive training to build your professional network within our engineering teams.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design and development of hand and power tools by creating 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using CAD software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and marketing, to improve product quality and meet regulatory requirements.
- Support the prototyping and testing of new designs to analyze performance, durability, and safety.
- Work on optimizing product designs for efficient manufacturing by considering production feasibility, cost, and materials.
What you'll need#
- You are a current student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
- You must be a rising junior or senior.
- You have strong proficiency in CAD software for 3D modeling and detailed design.
- You maintain strong academic credentials.

- Pay: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour, based on your location, skills, and experience.
