About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Electrical Engineering internship based in Towson, Maryland, for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site to support our engineering teams with product development and cost reduction initiatives. This role offers exposure to various electrical engineering functions while working alongside a cross-functional team of professionals.
What you'll do#
- Perform design and testing tasks for new product development and cost reduction projects.
- Prototype electronic or mechatronic product concepts related to power tools, battery studies, and wireless connectivity.
- Prepare technical solutions and decision matrices to guide project direction.
- Design and construct prototypes, including creating bills of materials and preliminary cost analyses.
- Present your project results to your supervisor and technology leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a rising junior or senior student.
- Active pursuit of a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Working knowledge of electrical engineering principles, circuit analysis, and power electronics.
- Familiarity with embedded systems and firmware development is a plus.
- Ability to manage academic responsibilities alongside extracurricular activities.

- Compensation: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour, based on experience and market location.
