About the role#
As an Accounting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in financial operations within the construction industry. You will work alongside our accounting and project teams to support various administrative and financial tasks. This role focuses on maintaining accurate, compliant, and efficient accounting processes for our projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with accounts payable processes and research invoice-related correspondence.
- Support vendor and subcontractor payment requests.
- Maintain compliance documentation and help ensure accurate recordkeeping across multiple projects.
- Participate in project accounting reviews and assist with month-end close activities.
- Reconcile project financial data.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, accounts payable, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively across departments and stakeholders.
- Reliable, adaptable, and detail-oriented approach.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and previous accounting experience through coursework or internships is a plus.
