About the role#
This internship provides hands-on exposure to financial and business processes within the construction industry. You will work under direct supervision to support the accounting team. The program includes 1:1 mentorship and a capstone project that you will present to company leadership.
What you'll do#
- Support month-end and quarterly closings, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank statement reconciliations.
- Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and data entry into accounting systems.
- Help the accounting department with general functions.
- Follow company policies regarding safety, ethics, and workplace conduct.
- Meet regularly with your assigned mentor to discuss progress and challenges.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration degree program.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving history are preferred.

- This role is based in Rapid City, South Dakota.
- The position is on-site and full-time.
- This is a paid internship with a rolling term.
