About the role#
The Property Office at Space Dynamics Laboratory is looking for a student to assist with shipping and receiving operations. You will support the laboratory by handling materials, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records. This position is part of the Student Scholar Program, which provides opportunities for professional development through technical workshops and outreach activities.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily shipping and receiving tasks, including material handling, packaging, and record keeping.
- Process, deliver, and pick up incoming and outgoing mail.
- Maintain mail distribution boxes across the campus.
- Perform data entry tasks to support office operations.
- Take on other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Utah State University with at least one year of school remaining.
- Ability to work 15-20 hours per week during the semester and up to 40 hours per week in the summer.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other productivity tools.
- A valid U.S. driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
