About the role#
Space Dynamics Laboratory is looking for a student to join our team as a DevSecOps Assistant. This role involves learning and applying DevSecOps principles while supporting our software factory. You will work under the direction of team members to build and manage secure systems. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in North Logan, Utah.
What you'll do#
- Design, implement, and document DevSecOps pipeline tools.
- Create secure, reusable processes for the team.
- Support the software factory through build pipelines and related tooling.
- Assist with the migration of our current on-premises environment to Azure.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Experience with coding or scripting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team.
- US citizenship.
- Familiarity with tools like Linux, Git, VSCode, GitHub, Jenkins, or Docker is preferred.
