About the role#
The Risk Management and Insurance Intern will support our internal team by advancing initiatives that strengthen company strategy. This role is project-based, requiring you to manage a specific project from start to finish, including creating a timeline, providing progress updates, and presenting your final delivery at a senior leadership expo.
What you'll do#
- Research and compile risk exposure data to support insurance policy renewals.
- Review, audit, and track incoming and outgoing Certificates of Insurance (COIs) to ensure compliance with company and contractual requirements.
- Maintain and update the insurance policy database, including coverage information and renewal dates.
- Collect, organize, and validate risk management data from internal stakeholders.
- Support insurance documentation, record retention, and various special projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Demonstrated interest in risk management, insurance, compliance, or related business functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.

- This is a remote, paid, full-time internship.
- The term for this position is Summer 2027.
