    About the role#

    The Market Development and Industry Partnership Intern will support the growth and execution of the Southwire Workforce Partnership Program. You will assist in managing strategic initiatives that strengthen connections with industry associations, contractors, training centers, educational institutions, and community partners. This role provides exposure to business operations, partnership management, and customer engagement strategies while working alongside cross-functional teams.

    What you'll do#

    • Coordinate activities and communications with external partners including associations, contractors, and educational institutions.
    • Maintain project plans, action trackers, timelines, and program documentation.
    • Track key performance indicators and develop program dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools.
    • Analyze participation, engagement, and impact metrics to support business decisions.
    • Assist with executive reporting and the development of presentations.
    • Partner with product management, marketing, demand planning, community relations, customer solutions, and sales teams.
    • Support the coordination of product donations, workforce initiatives, and partnership activations.
    • Assist with budget tracking, sponsorship management, forecasting, and investment planning.
    • Conduct research on workforce trends, labor challenges, and industry developments.
    • Support annual planning activities and program development efforts.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, Communications, or Economics.

    • Location: Carrollton, Georgia.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Modality: This is an on-site, full-time internship.
