About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program for undergraduate students interested in commercial banking. You will work on-site at our Charlotte office for 40 hours per week. The program focuses on providing hands-on experience through collaboration with relationship managers, credit analysts, and team leaders. You will participate in workshops, training sessions, and networking events designed to build your professional skills and industry knowledge.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market research and financial analysis to help identify client needs.
- Assist with financial spreads, due diligence on borrowers, and loan document reviews.
- Collaborate with team members on real-time business initiatives.
- Support marketing activities to promote banking services and engage clients.
- Complete mandatory compliance training and new employee orientation.
- Manage daily tasks and projects while meeting deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program in Business Administration, Mathematics, Accounting, or Finance.
- Status as a rising senior with an expected graduation date in 2028.
- A 3.4 GPA is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- A strong analytical mindset and a proactive approach to learning.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
