About the role#
This is a 12-week summer internship within the Commercial Banking division at Axos Bank. You will gain experience in treasury management, sales operations, and client onboarding. The program includes a capstone project, sessions with business leaders, and financial literacy training.
What you'll do#
- Assist with onboarding new client accounts and managing signer changes.
- Respond to internal and external requests while meeting service-level agreements.
- Create process maps, procedures, and Rules of Engagement for sales teams.
- Track sales activities in Salesforce and provide operational feedback.
- Handle client service requests like account maintenance and user support.
- Collaborate with specialty deposit groups to support client needs.
- Participate in strategic and operational projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program such as Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- Professional communication skills.
- An interest in banking processes, regulatory frameworks, and client service strategies.
- Ability to work within service-level agreements.

- This is a full-time, on-site role based in San Diego, California.
- The internship takes place during the Summer of 2027.
