About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program based in Tampa. You will work on-site full-time to gain exposure to commercial banking operations, credit culture, and business strategies. The program includes hands-on projects, networking events with senior leaders, and mentorship from experienced team members.
What you'll do#
- Participate in workshops, training sessions, and special projects.
- Conduct market research and financial analysis to identify client needs.
- Assist with financial spreads, due diligence on borrowers, and loan document reviews.
- Collaborate with relationship managers, credit analysts, and team leaders on business initiatives.
- Support marketing activities to help engage clients and promote banking services.
- Manage tasks, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
- Complete mandatory new hire compliance training and orientation.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate status pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Accounting, or Finance.
- You should be a rising senior graduating in 2028.
- A 3.4 GPA is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- An analytical mindset and a proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
