About the role#
Southern New Hampshire University is looking for an Intramural Sports Supervisor to join the Campus Recreation department on our main campus. This position helps manage intramural officials and supports the Competitive Sports Coordinator. You will help maintain a safe and fair environment for participants while gaining experience in management and athletics.
What you'll do#
- Manage pre-game and post-game logistics and administrative duties.
- Enforce sports rules and regulations to keep games competitive and safe.
- Provide constructive feedback to intramural officials.
- Monitor and enforce sportsmanship among all teams and participants.
- Assist the Competitive Sports Coordinator with office tasks, weekly check-ins, accident reports, and IMLeagues administration.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Undergraduate or Graduate Day program at SNHU.
- Previous experience in intramural sports.
- A willingness to continue training and improve your skills.
- Confidence in your ability to make decisions and resolve conflicts.
- A positive attitude.
- Preferred: Experience in athletics, CPR/AED certification, and strong communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: On-site at the SNHU main campus in New Hampshire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00pm to 12:00am.
- Hours: 10 to 20 hours per week.
- Pay: $13.00 to $15.00 per hour.
