About the role#
Hitachi Rail is seeking an intern for the Operations and Maintenance Training team in Pearl City. This role offers hands-on experience in urban transit and training development. You will support the team with administrative and strategic tasks throughout the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Manage employee training and competency records.
- Organize training data for a large user base.
- Create and analyze reports regarding training metrics.
- Participate in phases of the ADDIE model for the training life cycle.
- Assist in developing computer-based training modules, job aids, and training videos.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil).
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and December 2028.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on-site.
