About the role#
This position supports Jayme's Fund for Social Justice in Derry, NH. You will assist with fundraising, communications, and administrative tasks. This role offers hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, content creation, and community outreach. You will work on projects that help you develop skills in marketing, writing, and event management.
What you'll do#
- Handle administrative tasks using fundraising software and Constant Contact.
- Work with a social media specialist to maintain an online presence.
- Write content for social media, blogs, and the annual newsletter.
- Help with Jayme's Bears events as scheduled.
- Contribute your own ideas and creativity to the team.
- Take on leadership opportunities if you are interested.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a SNHU degree program.
- A work study award as part of your financial aid package.
- Reliable transportation.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Experience or interest in human services and social justice issues.
- Ability to work both independently and with supervision.
- Knowledge of writing and posting on social media.
- Interest in learning email marketing and fundraising software.
- Excellent writing skills and creative ideas are a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a part-time, paid position with a pay range of $13.00 to $15.00 per hour.
- The work is flexible, with a mix of remote work and some in-person meetings in Southern New Hampshire or on the SNHU campus.
- The internship term is rolling.
