About the role#
South Florida ENT Associates, P.A. is seeking an Audiology Extern to join our team in North Miami. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will work directly with experienced audiologists to gain clinical experience while treating patients with various hearing and balance disorders.
What you'll do#
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations.
- Manage hearing aid fittings for patients.
- Provide counseling and rehabilitation services.
- Deliver follow-up care to patients.
- Use diagnostic technology and hearing solutions in a clinical setting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Au.D. program with eligibility for an externship.
- Completion of a BA/BS in an Audiology program.
- Ability to fulfill the one year clinical site requirement for licensure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional, collaborative mindset with an interest in patient-centered care.
