About the role#
South Florida ENT Associates, P.A. is seeking an Audiology Extern to join our team in Hollywood, Florida. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will work alongside experienced audiologists to gain clinical experience and build your professional skills in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate and treat patients of all ages.
- Participate in comprehensive hearing evaluations.
- Assist with hearing aid fittings.
- Provide patient counseling and rehabilitation.
- Manage follow-up care for patients.
- Develop clinical skills while working with diagnostic technology.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current Au.D. student eligible for an externship placement.
- You must be completing a BA/BS in an Audiology program.
- You need to fulfill the one-year clinical site requirement for licensure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
