About the role#
South Florida ENT Associates, P.A. is hiring an Audiology Extern for a full-time, paid position. This role provides hands-on clinical experience while working alongside experienced audiologists. You will gain exposure to a variety of hearing and balance disorders while developing your clinical decision-making skills in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Participate in comprehensive patient evaluations.
- Perform hearing aid fittings for patients of all ages.
- Provide patient counseling, rehabilitation services, and follow-up care.
- Use diagnostic equipment and hearing technology to treat patients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an Au.D. student eligible for an externship placement.
- Completion of a BA/BS in an Audiology program.
- Fulfillment of the one-year clinical site requirement needed for licensure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professionalism, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.
- A focus on patient-centered care and a commitment to learning.
