    About the role#

    WJAR NBC 10 is seeking interns for the News Department for the Fall 2026 term. This is an on-site, unpaid internship designed for students preparing for a career in the news industry. Credit verification forms will be provided to ensure students receive college credit for their participation.

    What you'll do#

    • Intern within the News Department.
    • Participate in various training sessions and daily tasks related to news production.
    • Engage in activities designed to maximize the internship experience.

    What you'll need#

    • Must be a junior or senior at a four-year accredited college or university.
    • Must be eligible to receive college credit for this internship.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Highly motivated and dedicated individuals planning for a career in news.
    • Pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, or Media Studies.
