About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the WTOV news team in Steubenville, Ohio. The position is available for the Fall 2026 term and is designed for students seeking to learn the broadcasting process.
What you'll do#
- Assist with all levels of WTOV production, including producing, directing, and shooting news.
- Report to the show producer, director, or photographer depending on daily needs.
- Learn all aspects of the broadcasting process.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment at a four-year accredited college or university.
- Current pursuit of college credit for the internship (verification forms will be provided).
- Age 18 or older.
- Planning and preparation for a career in broadcast or digital media.
- Majors in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or Political Science.
- High motivation and dedication to the internship experience.
