About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to news storytelling across broadcast and digital platforms. You will work within a professional newsroom environment, gaining exposure to the daily operations of a media organization while developing skills in modern journalism.
What you'll do#
- Assist in researching, writing, and producing news stories for broadcast and digital platforms.
- Work alongside reporters, anchors, producers, and photographers in the newsroom and in the field.
- Pitch story ideas and help shape coverage for the audience.
- Learn how to shoot video and frame compelling visuals.
- Gain exposure to control room operations and live broadcasts.
What you'll need#
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be at least a sophomore at an accredited college or university.
- Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, or be a recent graduate.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or Political Science.
- Ability to work on-site in West Palm Beach, Florida.
- Reliable transportation.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
