About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship supports the International Manufacturing Department. You will focus on three key areas: maintaining product data integrity, testing AI-built tools, and building compliance documentation. This role is designed to improve data accuracy and strengthen operational systems.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing team to clean up product data in Plytix and NetSuite, including dimensions and packaging information.
- Execute single-entry and bulk uploads in Plytix and generate UPC and UCC codes through GS1.
- Ensure product data flows accurately into manufacturing spec sheets and NetSuite.
- Review AI-built tools to ensure they reflect current processes and identify any gaps or failure points.
- Create new or revised SOPs to ensure processes are clear and consistent.
- Organize and maintain compliance documentation for packaging, children’s products, and retail requirements.
- Identify missing or expiring compliance documents to mitigate risk.
- Create a standardized factory audit summary to ensure findings are comparable across partner factories.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in supply chain, operations, business, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Experience using tools like Claude or ChatGPT to draft documentation, analyze data, and automate tasks.
- Comfort working with large data sets, including the use of lookup formulas, pivot tables, filtering, and sorting.
- Ability to learn new platforms quickly.
- Strong attention to detail, specifically regarding product specs, dimensions, pantones, and UPC assignments.
- Ability to write clear process documentation and SOPs.
- Comfort asking direct questions of internal teams and factory partners.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, track open items, and work independently.
