About the role#
The Logistics Intern will support the booking, tracking, monitoring, and reporting of international and domestic shipments from factories to warehouses. You will work alongside the Logistics Manager and the Manufacturing and Planning teams to keep shipments moving and ensure information remains accurate. This role requires an organized, proactive problem solver who can manage multiple logistics activities at once. Success in this role relies on clear communication, attention to detail, and building productive relationships with freight forwarders, factories, and warehouse partners.
What you'll do#
- Learn and use Flexport, V.Alexander, and the Simple Modern Container Portal to support ocean container booking and monitoring.
- Communicate with freight-forwarder teams to resolve shipment issues and coordinate container pickups with factory representatives.
- Coordinate with warehouse representatives to facilitate product pickup and delivery, document receipts, and report discrepancies like errors, shortages, or overages.
- Book domestic shipments with carriers, monitor active transit, and escalate delays.
- Develop reports and provide logistics data to team members.
- Create, test, and refine AI-enabled tools to automate and improve logistics processes.
- Support warehouse operations and hands-on product fulfillment as needed.
- Participate in company-sponsored service opportunities with giving partners.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with logistics documentation and terminology.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
