About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Audit Intern position for Summer 2027. You will work with our Not-For-Profit team to gain hands-on experience in the accounting industry. This role is a hybrid position based in Naperville or Springfield, Illinois.
What you'll do#
- Develop an understanding of the audit process.
- Analyze and test key elements of client financial statements.
- Establish working relationships with client personnel.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver client service.
- Work on a variety of different accounting projects.
What you'll need#
- Sophomore, Junior, or Senior status at the time of the internship.
- Enrollment in an accounting, cost accounting, or auditing program at a college or university.
- Ability to work 40 hours each week.
- Interest in pursuing CPA credentials.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a varied team.
- Integrity, a bias for action, and a focus on problem-solving.
- Ability to instill trust and influence others to advance initiatives.
