About the role#
As a Private Tax Intern, you will assist our team in delivering tax and compliance services for clients with global workforces. This role is for individuals early in their careers who want to develop technical skills in tax and mobility. You will work alongside experienced professionals who provide mentorship and guidance throughout your internship.
What you'll do#
- Prepare U.S. individual income tax returns and cost projections for international employees.
- Research tax laws, rules, and regulations to support client needs.
- Manage and analyze data sets to build models and use visualization tools.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and develop tax solutions.
- Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders with the support of senior team members.
- Help maintain strong client relationships through high-quality service delivery.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- An interest in tax compliance and a willingness to learn about U.S. individual income tax returns.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic experience with tax preparation software.
- Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to interact effectively with various levels of management.
Location & details#
- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Term: Winter 2027 (mid-January through mid-April).
- Modality: Hybrid (minimum of 3 days per week in the office).
- Employment type: Full-time paid internship.
