About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern at Sierra Nevada Corporation, you will join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This program provides hands-on experience in the defense and space manufacturing industry. You will work alongside industry experts to contribute to real-world technical projects and develop your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to actual technical projects and team objectives.
- Perform hands-on technical work to gain practical experience.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to support engineering decisions.
- Attend planning meetings to understand project requirements, timelines, and goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university or college program pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in college or technical school.
- Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
