About the role#
The Software Engineering Intern position is a full-time, paid summer 2027 opportunity based in Plano, Texas. You will join our team to gain hands-on experience in the aerospace and defense industry. This role focuses on professional development through mentorship, direct project involvement, and cross-functional workshops.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to technical projects and team objectives by completing assigned tasks.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to support engineering decisions.
- Attend planning meetings to understand project requirements, timelines, and goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in a college or technical school.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
- U.S. Citizenship status is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
