About the role#
This is a full-time Warehouse Associate co-op position for the Winter 2027 term, running from January 6 to April 16, 2027. You will work in a hybrid capacity, with 4 days in the office and 1 day remote. The role is based in Mississauga, Ontario, and involves routine tasks related to picking, checking, packing, receiving, and shipping orders while following standard operating procedures.
What you'll do#
- Receive and unload delivery trucks, comparing packing slips against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Sort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory while inspecting for defects or damage.
- Operate pallet jacks or reach trucks to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Use RF scanners and logistics software to track inventory, conduct weekly counts, and enter data.
- Prepare orders by pulling materials, boxing, and wrapping merchandise for shipment.
- Replenish shelves and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Verify product numbers, lot numbers, and expiry dates on all items.
What you'll need#
- A High School diploma and previous warehouse experience.
- Ability to lift up to 45lbs, with 95% of the workday spent standing and 75% spent bending, reaching, or lifting.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in data entry, documentation, and inventory control.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to work effectively within a team.
- Dependability and the ability to work various shifts between Monday and Friday.
- Current enrollment in a program related to Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Logistics.
