About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community setting. You will work in a retail pharmacy environment to gain real world training that complements your academic studies. You will report to a local Associate-Owner while receiving support from a national brand.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage privacy requirements, including customer confidentiality and consent.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Participate in daily pharmacy operations.
- Improve your communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Learn about OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Develop skills required to manage a retail pharmacy.

- Current enrollment in a pharmacy program.

- Employment Type: Part-time, hourly.
- Pay: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour, depending on experience and location.
