About the role#
This position offers pharmacy students the chance to gain practical experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will work within a locally owned store to support health and wellness services while building your professional skills. This role is designed to help you prepare for a future career as a pharmacist by bridging the gap between academic studies and real world practice.
What you'll do#
- Greet and assist all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Maintain strict privacy standards, including customer confidentiality and proper consent management.
- Manage daily retail pharmacy operations.
- Provide support to pharmacy customers to ensure a positive experience.
- Engage in community practice to broaden your understanding of the pharmacist role.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a pharmacy student.
- Ability to work effectively in a community pharmacy environment.
- A strong interest in OTC products, disease state management, and drug therapy.
- A commitment to providing high quality patient counseling.
- Professionalism and a consistent focus on privacy requirements.
