About the role#
This position offers pharmacy students practical experience within a community pharmacy setting. You will work under a local Associate-Owner while gaining exposure to the daily operations of a retail pharmacy. The role is designed to bridge the gap between academic studies and real-world practice.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer consent and maintain confidentiality.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met during interactions.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Participate in comprehensive training to develop your skills.
- Learn about the expanding responsibilities of community pharmacists.
- Gain hands-on experience in areas such as OTC products, disease state management, and patient counseling.

- Current enrollment in pharmacy studies.

- Location: 1411 Upper Sherman Avenue, Hamilton, Ontario.
- Employment type: Part-time, hourly, with flexible shifts.
- Compensation: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour, depending on experience and location.
