About the role#
This position offers pharmacy students practical experience in a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned store while gaining exposure to the expanding roles of a community pharmacist. This role is designed to bridge the gap between academic studies and real world practice.
What you'll do#
- Welcome customers as they approach the pharmacy counter.
- Maintain strict privacy standards, including patient confidentiality and consent management.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Provide an exceptional shopping experience for pharmacy customers.
- Engage in community pharmacy practice to build your professional skills.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare workers.
- Expand your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, and drug therapy.
- Develop skills in patient counseling and retail pharmacy management.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing studies in pharmacy.

- Location: St. Thomas, Ontario.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Employment type: Part-time, hourly with flexible shifts.
- Compensation: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour, depending on experience and location.
