About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Pharmacy Intern position at a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart in Edmonton. You will work in a community pharmacy setting to gain practical experience and bridge the gap between academic studies and real-world practice. The role operates on a rolling term basis.
What you'll do#
- Greet and acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Maintain strict privacy standards, including patient confidentiality and consent management.
- Learn about over-the-counter products, disease state management, and drug therapy.
- Build your patient counseling skills through direct interaction.
- Assist with the daily management and operations of a retail pharmacy.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in pharmacy studies.
- A genuine interest in community pharmacy practice.
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare staff.
- The ability to work effectively in a busy retail environment.

- Location: 924 91St Street Southwest, Edmonton, AB.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $23.20 - $30.25 per hour, depending on experience and location.
