About the role#
The Engineering Co-op is a 15-week program hosted by the Engineering Department. You will work at our Global Headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio, starting in May 2027. You will assist site Engineering Managers with daily tasks and special projects to support department goals.
What you'll do#
- Perform equipment analysis.
- Support new installations and facility revisions.
- Develop drawings and specifications for equipment layout.
- Investigate new plant engineering processes and techniques.
- Complete special projects as identified by the Engineering Team.
- Present a final project summary to site, program, and division leadership at the end of your rotation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with at least sophomore standing.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- At least one year of experience using Microsoft Office products.
- Previous experience in a team-oriented setting.
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role or supervising others.
- At least one year of work experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations function, or completion of a Sherwin-Williams Engineering Development Program.
- Previous internship or Co-op experience in the Sherwin-Williams Global Supply Chain Division is preferred.
- Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities.
