About the role#
This summer 2027 internship provides hands-on experience within our construction operations. You will work directly with project teams in Boston to learn about industry safety standards. This role is intended for rising juniors and seniors. Successful completion of this internship provides advance consideration for our CMST program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Identify potential jobsite hazards with the safety manager and find ways to minimize risk.
- Conduct regular safety audits with field operations staff and follow up on safety issues with the project team.
- Talk directly with subcontractors to address safety concerns.
- Build and maintain relationships with project team members, subcontractors, and clients.
- Help the safety manager lead new hire safety orientations for incoming operations staff.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor degree in construction management, occupational health and safety, civil engineering, or a related field.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in construction is preferred.

- Compensation: $22 to $25 per hour.
